Find the Positive
Next time you receive a positive response from a client be sure to put it somewhere you can find it on the days where it just isn't working for you and keep putting one foot in front of the other!π
Itβs sometimes hard to find the positivity in being a small business owner, with pressure on prices and always another βhatβ to put on to solve the next problem, it can get overwhelming and exhausting.
Β
When it all gets a bit difficult and you wonder what itβs all about, then it is time to reflect on your most important "why."
β
That could be:
βwhy you started
why it works for you or
why it is better than the alternatives!
β
It is a good idea to do this on a regular basis but certainly before you make any final decisions or head down a destructive path.
β
One tip I find helpful is to take some time out for yourself, a quiet place to write it all down and focus on the positives and what you want the business to be. This will help clear your mind and either unlock the way forward, which in itself can provide some motivation or it will help you see if it really isn't what you want any more.
β
Hopefully you will find the silver linings and push through, IΒ know when it gets difficult for us we remember comments like these from our caring clients:
βThank you so much for making the accounting side of running the business unbelievably straight-forward, and for sorting out and explaining everything for me. Β I am very pleased that I found you, and I'm sorry to say goodbye. I would definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a good accountant.β
